the Villmers life thrift store and lights
this morning we went to the thrift store to get some st. nick's presents and to find some items that the kids could buy for each other and for mami and papi, which was challenging since we were all there together!
after lunch, bryan, cady, and jessica decorated the house and our front tree with our usual arrangement of christmas lights. however, five sets didn't work this year and had to be tossed, which included all of our icicle sets. so that was a bummer. then, after the car had played music all afternoon, the battery apparently died, which means a call to the dealer since the prius has a unique battery system.
anyway, here's a photo of our efforts:
it looks like the blue set around the right window is half out, but it's a blinking set, so this is the best i could get. maybe you'll be able to come visit this christmas and see the decorations in person.

has earned my adoration yet one more time with a wonderful purchase and
a safe and sound and speedy delivery. I love this little netbook. I
bought the 3 item bundle offered (the netbook itself, 2gig upgrade
memory, and the ext DVD writer).
Measuring 10" x 7" (smaller than
an 8x10 photo) and weighing less than 2 lbs, this little netbook is 2/3
the size and 1/4 of the weight of my hubby's cumbersome laptop. Even
with the ext DVD screen and a set of headphones, this baby will be far
less effort, bulk and weight to bring with us when we travel. I'm
looking forward to future travels with it in tow.
The black
seashell case I chose is gorgeous with sparkles in the finish, the
screen colors are brilliant and the backlit screen makes it easy to see
in all types of light, and the 92 percent sized keyboard is a dream.
The touch pad is problematic for me personally. I feel too many
features have been crammed into its 2x2" area and it's taking some
